The management committee is charged with supervising the day-to-day operations of the firm. It ensures that the goals and objectives of the firms, as set by the executive committee are being implemented. The management committee is composed of the two General Managers (Mugenyi Frank and Kakembo Livingstone). These undertake the day-to-day operations of the firm, with assistance of the administrators. These General Managers had worked in different organisations as auditors and accountants in private and public sectors prior to joining ALLIED Certified Public Accountants and have developed specialised skills at the firm in audit, tax advise, accountancy and investment/business appraisals. Mr. Kakembo Livingstone
Mr. Kakembo took a professional line and has attained qualifications in AIB and LCC, of The Rapid Results College tuition, House London SW19. He has experience in banking, having worked as a banking officer for 10 years and his expertises in consultancy are mainly in tax audit and tax advice, as well as credit and portfolio analysis. Mr. Kakembo is the Manager in charge of Business Appraisal and tax advise. He heads the audit team and works hand in hand with second General Manager.
Mr. Mugenyi Frank
He holds a Uganda Diploma in Accountancy with Qualification in CPA. Mr. Mugenyi started his career in audit having worked as Audit Assistant, Senior Audit Assistant in Matt Mukasa and Co from 1983. He also worked with Kiluse and CO as an Auditor before joining ALLIED as a Director. He has headed audit teams in Uganda Hotels Limited, Uganda Bags and Hessian Mills Ltd, and African Textile Mills Limited. However, his major audit experience is in private sector where he has prepared management and audit reports for several enterprises. He is an expert in financial management and internal controls, bookkeeping and accountancy, and personnel development and organisational structure.
